We love all white but choosing between the subtly different shades of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint can be tricky. Here we outline the main differences to help you decide on which white is right for you.
LINEN
Linen is the warmest white. It’s creamy, without being too yellow. If the color palette in your home is warmer and you don’t use a lot of pure or cool whites, you should go for Linen.
IRONSTONE
Ironstone is a beautiful, pure white. If you want a true white, Ironstone will be your best pick. Ironstone tends to require more coats than the other whites, since it doesn’t have as much color in it. Layer it over another white for better coverage and to minimize coats.
FARMHOUSE WHITE
This is the new white in the range and is proving very popular. The coverage is great and it really is a perfect all-purpose white. It is a richer white and a bit of a chameleon depending on what it’s beside and the light in the space.
GRAIN SACK
Grain Sack is a grayish, off-white. It’s another white that changes character depending on the environment. It plays against brighter whites like Ironstone and Farmhouse White, which bring out the gray undertones even more.
So, which white is your favorite?
